China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair (Kunming Fair for short) is a regional international commodities fair cosponsored by Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Governments of Yunnan Province, Sichuan Province, Chongqing Municipality, Guizhou Province, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Tibet Autonomous Region and Chengdu City, and co-organized by many institutions from home and abroad. Since its inauguration in 1993, thanks to the nurture and development over the two decades, with the increasing improved level and standard and the enriched contents, Kunming Fair has become an international business platform featuring business negotiations, commodity exhibitions, investment cooperation, service trade, E-business and so on, which has been playing a significant role in the expansion of economic and commercial cooperation between China and countries and regions in Southeast Asia, South Asia and even around the Indian Ocean. The 21st Kunming Fair will be held from June 6 to 10, 2013, same period when the 1st China-South Asia Exposition takes place.
